The 12th consecutive edition of the South School on Internet Governance and the 4th edition of ARGENSIG the Argentine School of Internet Governance will be organized jointly and virtually on October 5 - 9, 2020.
Although we all hope that the situation of COVID-19 in relation to mobility and travel will be normalized in the coming months, it is possible that there are factors such as travel restrictions and social distancing that prevent the face to face celebration of the South School on Internet Governance (SSIG) and the Argentine School of Internet Governance (ARGENSIG).
We are grateful to the Faculty of Economic Sciences of the University of Buenos Aires that will be our host institution in this virtual edition of the South School on Internet Governance 2020 and ARGENSIG 2020.

The main objective of the South School on Internet Governance is to train new leaders of opinion in all aspects related with Internet Governance, from a global perspective and with focus on the Latin America and Caribbean Region.
The program trains university and postgraduate students from the region and from the rest of the world in understanding the complexity related with Internet Governance and its importance in the future of the Internet.
